Easy to Use
Watering spikes help keep your plant happy and healthy by slowly diffusing water through microscopic pores, providing even hydration for days! Simply insert the spike into the soil near your plant and fill with water. These miniature ollas help take the stress out of plant care; use it to provide extra hydration where it’s needed, while also preventing overwatering which can cause pests like fungus gnats, to become a major issue.
Top Quality
We use a carefully formulated white clay (not terra cotta) that produces a porous ceramic which is liquid fertilizer friendly, letting you drip-feed nutrients directly to the root. Our fine products have a durable glaze finish that keeps each unique, colorfully hand-painted design vibrant for years.
From hand mixed clay to final glaze coat, all our items are carefully created with non-toxic and lead-free components, so you can be excited to share these fun creations with everyone.

Every item is created, refined, painted, kiln-fired, photographed, and shipped by the two-person team that makes up Mountain Mudworks, Sharie and Logan. Slight variations exist. We do our best to keep our photos updated, so you have an accurate idea of what to expect.
Eco-friendly
Our plastic-free products are packaged to order without frills. Each item is wrapped in paper cushion wrap and nestled in a cardboard box with biodegradable packing peanuts* before being sealed with paper tape and sent to you.
*We reuse shipping materials to reduce waste, so if you receive styrofoam peanuts in your order, you can be sure it is not the first trip it has taken!
Fast Shipping
Everything listed is finished and ready to ship, we just need a day or two to get it packed up. Unless otherwise stated, items will ship in 1-3 days.

I ordered the astronaut and it is as cute on the picture as in real life, I’m a bit disappointed in myself that I didn’t order the one with the gold colored visor.
I'm happy that i found it, i'm fascinated by everything space related and it looks so nice!
When I have more plants for sure I will order new ones!!

I got the spaceman watering spike and he is adorable! My husband love all things space and I love gardening so this spaceman is bridging hobby worlds! Great for specialized watering needs, I use these in mulch, sand, rock and all my plants have been doing amazing! I currently have my lil spaceman in my coffee plant which has high humidity and hydration requirements and it has been easy to keep evenly hydrated thanks to this cute lol spaceman.
